About Andy Young

This month, we welcome winemaker Andy Reginald Young, founder of St. Reginald Parish and The Marigny, and co-founder of Drink This Wine with Molly Baz, as our Artist in Residence.

A Louisiana native, Andy is currently focused on natural winemaking in McMinnville, Oregon, where he works to lease vineyards and manage them with regenerative practices. This process involves investing in making not only the fruit and resulting wines as healthful and alive as possible, but also extending this way of being to the communities and land where the fruit is grown and farmed.

At its core, Andy feels this is what defines the natural wine movement: protecting the land and the people who steward that land, while making something that can be both simply delicious and profound in the same glass.
